Lobna Anous

Lobna is a young urban planner who is dedicated to leaving her mark in both the academic and practical fields. Her background is shaped by her masters in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), as well as her architectural degree from The American University in Cairo (AUC).

She is making a significant impact in practice by working at UN-Habitat as Urban Development Project Assistant. She also co-founded the urban enterprise "U for Urban Impact" focusing on regenerating underdeveloped spaces through small scale projects and conscious travel. Lobna has also demonstrated history of working in the academic field as a teaching and research assistant in AUC.
